Import DXF parts

Each DXF becomes a shaped part. Nesting uses the bounding box; the real outline is drawn and exported for vCarve.

Reusable offcuts (scrap)

The largest clean rectangle left on each sheet, after all parts and saw kerf. Export a label to stick on the offcut, and a DXF of its position & size for tracking or re-nesting later.
🔗

Merge narrow parts

Parts with one dimension ≤150 mm are merged into strips up to 800 mm wide, with a saw-kerf gap between pieces. Same length, material, and thickness required to merge. The cutting operator separates them with a single saw cut along each gap.

Assign parts to group

Set how many copies of each part go into this group. Split identical parts across several groups — e.g. 6 facades → 2 + 2 + 2. Grouped parts keep the same grain direction (no rotation) and are placed consecutively.
